The lights hit, and the room went electric—instantly way too hot. I could feel the sweat already starting to pour down my face, but I didn’t even blink. I was locked in. My band was looking to me, and I had that fire in my belly—that absolute, cold-blooded determination to show exactly who we were.

We were at SIR Studios, and the place was crawling with the big A&R guys who held all the cards. It was ’86 or ’87, and for a group like Oh-10, this was the moment. I remember looking out at the crowd, feeling every bit of the pressure, but I was ready. I was ready to step up and knock it out of the park.

We weren’t just playing a set; we were on a mission. We were chasing that gold and platinum all the way to the top of the Hollywood sign, and we were there to prove we deserved it. It was a hell of a night—one of those ones that stays burned in your memory for a lifetime.
